In November of 2004 Donnie begins A spectacular new club show Saluting and celebrating 30 years of the Television music show "Sounds". It was 30 years since the inception of "Sounds"and March 1st 1975 was also the first day of Colour television in Australia. This club show features footage from Sounds on the big screen as well as Rock n Roll memorabilia from the 70's and 80's . Guest appearances by stars from the 70's and 80's and , 70s and 80s Dance music with a huge team of spectacular dancers all hosted by Donnie.
On Australia Day January 26th 2000 it was announced that Donnie was to recive the ORDER OF AUSTRALIA MEDAL for his services to Entertainment particulary for his promotion of Australian Musicians and for his charity work as a compere.
